image ABOUT THE CANADIAN SANATAN MISSION

Our Story

In early 2025, some devoted individuals came together with a shared vision: to create a spiritual and cultural sanctuary rooted in the eternal values of Sanatan Dharma. From this heartfelt intention, the Canadian Sanatan Mission was born — Right here in the heart of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. What began as a simple idea among friends has grown into a vibrant and inclusive community dedicated to dharma, seva (selfless service), and sanskar (cultural values).

Our Divine Beginnings

The first sacred murtis to be welcomed into our space are:

  • Shri Ram Lalla – the embodiment of divine innocence and righteousness
  • Shri Hanuman Ji – the symbol of strength, devotion, and unwavering faith
  • Shri Sidhi Vinayak Ji – the remover of obstacles and harbinger of wisdom
  • Shiv Ji – the eternal ascetic, source of cosmic transformation, and embodiment of boundless compassion and divine power
  • Neem Karoli Baba Ji – the living embodiment of unconditional love, simplicity, and service; a guiding presence whose grace inspires devotion, surrender, and inner peace.
  • Khatushyam Ji – the embodiment of courage, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion, revered for his promise to protect devotees in the age of Kali Yuga. His divine presence inspires faith, humility, and the inner strength to face life’s challenges with trust in the divine will.

These deities form the spiritual foundation of our Mission and guide our journey forward.

More Than a Temple

The Canadian Sanatan Mission is not just a place of worship—it is a living, breathing community. Through:

  • Spiritual learning rooted in the teachings of our scriptures
  • Guided practices in devotion, dhyana, and bhakti-centered living
  • Celebrations of Sanatan festivals and traditions

We aim to nurture a sense of belonging, purpose, and inner peace for all.

Our Vision

With your continued support and blessings, we aspire to build:

  • A cultural learning center
  • Spaces for spiritual retreat and contemplation
  • Facilities for seniors and youth engagement

Together, we will ensure that the eternal flame of Sanatan Dharma continues to shine brightly for generations to come.
